The company we work for specializes in manuafacturing small plastic bearing and energy chains (a large plastic chain that keep cables in place for a huge variety of applications. In Victory Park, igus energy chains are used in the system that moves the huge jumbotrons up and down the area outside the American Airlines Center. We are working in the E-Media department on tow different projects relating to the igus website. We would tell you what exactly we're doing, but we'd have to kill you...
We went to Dresden last weekend which was awesome. The city was beautiful and it was really interesting to be in Eastern Germany. It seems that Germany has spent millions of dollars on rebuilding all of the historic center of the city, and it looks like it was never touched (although the city essentially burned to the ground at one point). This weekend we are going to Frankfurt and Heidelberg to meet up with my Dad and some German friends. Hope everyone is enjoying summer so far!
